A lot of the effects are in Pure Effect. (Smoke is definitely in there, and the three card routine)

*Edit* Just noticed this is actually mentioned in the initial post. Curse you UKG!!

Yeah this DVD is really wonderful. For me invisible deal is worth the price of admission alone!

Some great card stuff. You get to see a master at work, learn about presentation and misdirection, and the mental effects are staggering!

Being a UK magician people invariably talk about Derren Brown, and its great that i can now say "Well, actually i have been working on something, and it was kind of inspired by Derren Brown's style of entertainment. Lets try something without any cards....." And it is a great way to change the flow from card tricks to more Mental Magic/Mentalism.

For the first time this week i performed and didn't use  a deck of cards! It was all stuff from Banachek or Derren Brown, and i loved it!!

I would recommend this DVD whole heartedly!

all the best

Some of this stuff needs to be seen in dvd to get the whole idea of how to perform it convincingly.

A lot of his work is based on subtle misdirection, verbal cues and psychological forces which are much easier shown than described, especially with things such as the invisible deal, doublethink, and the psychological forces.

Get the dvd, you won't be disapointed. Get Pure Effect alongside it, there is enough extra included within TDP to justify buying it.
