This item may seem to be to good to be true, but it is very ideal for any magician wanting to start in very powerful close-up magic. This DVD teaches effects not only invented by Ellusionist, but many from other magicians including Jay Sankey, and Ed Balducci.

My main complaint is that in between tricks random girls talk about theory of magic and it is obvious they are reading from a paper off to the side.

Effects include a Card warp, Designed for laughter, Balducci levitation, downs palm, and Out of this world. They hopefully were granted permission from the many performer's they borrowed from.

Overall: 8.5

This was my first magic DVD. Where is designed for laughter on there? Also the downs palm?

The Down's palm's name was changed to George's old trick and Designed for laughter was trickswitch.

Brads teaching on this DVD was great, but I also did hate the "girls trying to look sexy" or should I say "Urban and Gritty"

Jay Sankey's not in the Revolution DVD. It's Kevin Parker.
Anyway, the vanish is alright. People will either be amazed or laugh at you, depending on how hard they think about it.
You'll be the same way, you'll either love the move, or hate it. Personally, I think there are just so many better vanishes out there. To do the Revolution vanish, you need to be wearing the right pants, and all that jazz.

I can't possibly understand why someone would pay that much ($18.95) for a  coin vanish... that's exactly why I don't like Ellusionist

If you want to spend $18.95 on coin magic, buy yourself a paperback copy of Modern Coin Magic. You'll be glad you did.

Hmm you could be right there, but as much as I like the Ellusionist DVD, and I do have the DVD, I think it could have been better presented. I would have kept Brads teaching and lost the "urban girls" bits.
