Weapons of the Card Shark
by Jeff Wessmiller

Ever wonder how cheats really do their thing? Think it’s about marked cards or gimmicks? Think again. This video is the first of it’s kind to truly expose underground cheating techniques in action today. Several of the moves on this video have NEVER been seen before anywhere! Not to mention this video is full of brand new material invented by Jeff Wessmiller himself.

That was the catch line. Sounds great!

The real deal on this DVD was learn to cheat. You can learn everything you need to know about cheating at a card game. You actually get to watch a real video of him using the cheats at a poker game. There were a few moves that I have never seen before. And I learned one of the greatest cheats of all time.

This DVD is sounding better and better every moment.

Before I talk about the best cheat of all time I will discuss the performance. The performer Jeff Wessmiller is the most boring human being I have ever watch for such a long period of time. I kept thinking it has to get more entertaining, it has to get more entertaining. Alas it stayed as boring as ever. There is nearly no music and the talking from Jeff was boring and he has a wierd voice that just bothers me.

The moves shown in this DVD are pritty easy to come by. They have been around for millions of years and you can find them in just about any magic book. Royal Road covers most of them in better detail. Jeff is nothing more then a move monkey who is good at doing the moves but looks like a cheat anyway (meaning I would not play him a game anyway). He has come up with (I think) 2 moves of his own that are in this DVD. Both look very awkward and un-natural, which is a tell for serious poker players.

There is one aspect that was addressed well. Stacking the deck when picking up the cards. He covers how to stack the cards in a pritty easy to follow manner, but nothing special. I am sure I could of come up with this on my own IF I were a card cheat and invested time and though into it. Anyone would here could do it too.

The "live" footage of the poker game I actually fell a sleep watching (2 pm in the afternoon on a sunny day). There was little to no talking and he did a very poor job of highlighting the moves as they were done and he did not have any enthusism in his voice. Like I said. I fell a sleep.

Over all I will have to say it is a 2 out of 10.

This DVD is designed to make you a move monkey. Its boring. As far as I know Jeff is not a performer and this DVD sings it from the roof top. I gave it two over a one because he took the time to think of the stacking and he did gather a large collection of monkey moves in one DVD.

I would not give this DVD away in fear of someone watching it and wasting their life. I care for humanity for too much for that.

2 out of 10

He lectured at a local magic shop next to my house. That was the only lecture the store refunded everyones money on. He was just that boring and no one got anything out of it.
